LAY WORSHIP ASSISTANTS
There are many ways to help with worship at Trinity, both behind the scenes and in the upfront! Contact Carol Carver [email protected] , or the coordinator listed below, if you are interested in volunteering. Training is provided in all areas.
Lay people serve as assisting ministers. Ordained people serve as presiding and preaching ministers. The assisting minister offers prayers, helps to serve communion, and assists the pastor in any other ways needed. People of all ages (10 and above) are invited to participate. This is a ministry that is often included in 9 a.m. worship, you are welcome to participate if you attend 10:30 a.m. worship also. For information contact Carol Carver.
This is the group that prepares the sanctuary for worship. They make sure everything is ready to welcome family (members) and friends (visitors). If you have an hour once a month, be in touch with Joanne Brown at [email protected]
These people set-up communion on Sunday mornings. Set-up is done prior to the 9 am worship. But, there is a need for a team to clean-up after 10:30 am worship. If it is your week to set-up or clean-up you will also be asked to serve communion. This is a wonderful service that takes approximately 15-20 minutes per week. If this is something you, or your family, would like to take on, contact Sylvia McCallister at (651)-275-3600 or [email protected]
As a communion assistant you will serve communion to all those present at worship. This is one of the most joyful acts you can participate in at Trinity. If you are interested in serving at either 9 am or 10:30 am worship contact Sylvia McCallister at (651)-275-3600 or [email protected]
