Christ is Risen!
Christ is Risen, Indeed!
Alleluia!
Moving through these last fleeting days of Lent 2024, I am thanking God for a sense of fullness in Christ seeping through the wideness of Trinity. There is no question that we continue to lean into our values—a strong Spirit of loving openness, willingness and engaged leadership, co-creativity and deep hunger for belovedness in the Body of Christ.
Christ is Risen!
Christ is Risen, Indeed!
Alleluia!
If I am being honest, I’m not a math major or a numbers guy. It’s not my favorite medium. I am often more interested in words and vernacular—how the theme fits together and the narrative speaks into our souls. I love stories.
But I also appreciate adding more seats at Christ’s table of risen mercy. It has been really fun to not just welcome approximately 40 newcomers to the Trinity body of Christ, but to celebrate that reality together. As one of our folks said to me: “Everything feels fuller right now.” I think that’s true. In the fullness of Christ’s resurrection. We follow God’s lead in imagining new life, new chapters, new possibilities, new giftedness, new ideas, new vision, new pressure, new challenges, new innovation, new practices—all in service to embodying the spiring of Christ’s resurrection.
Christ is Risen!
Christ is Risen, Indeed!
Alleluia!
As we look ahead to the brilliance and effervescence of Christ’s servant-sacrificial love, we do so trusting that God has always brought us to new celestial shores, new experiences, and a sense of renewed hope.
We embody this risen promise together for this time and always.
