Local Missions

Trinity has a long history of outreach. We practice compassionate action by accompaniment. Explore the many ways to serve–both here in the St. Croix Valley and beyond all the way around the globe.

Angel Tree Christmas Gift Ministry

Late-November to early December
The Angel Tree gift ministry provides gifts for children and gift cards for care-givers of children whose parents are incarcerated. In addition to providing the gifts themselves or donating money for gift cards, volunteers are needed to help sort and deliver gifts. Assistance welcome. Contact Wendy Worner.

Community Thread

Volunteers are needed for the many activities run by our local Community Thread. Consider being part of the Transport Team (providing rides to and from medical appointments, social visits and errands); the Call Companion Team (socializing from the comfort of your home by calling a new friend two times per month); the Home Help Team (assisting with indoor/outdoor tasks such as lawn care, small repairs, house cleaning, pet walking, technology support); the Lawn Care Crew (adopting a yard to help with routine mowing), or annual one day events which include Stuff the Bus, River Rally, Holiday Hope, and Rake a Difference Day.

Dream of Wild Health Farm

Support from the Missions Team has helped the Indigenous youth of the Twin Cities area to achieve their mission to “restore health and well-being in the Native community by recovering knowledge of access to healthy indigenous foods, medicines and lifeways.” Their farm is in Hugo.
