SUNDAY FAITH FORMATION

Age 4 – Grade 5
Sundays at 9 am & 10:30 am
(Children begin in Worship Center with their parents.)

We are so excited for you to come and experience the opportunities that await your family at Trinity beginning this fall!  Get ready to be drawn closer to God and one another as we continue the work of the Faith & Family 2020 Team, live out the promises made at baptism, and align with Trinity’s Mission Statement and Core Values. There are some new terms you will hear this year, more emphasis on equipping parents/caregivers to be pastors of their homes, and more intentional opportunities for important cross-generational faith connections.

Here are some basics of what you need to know:

  • NEW! 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Faith Formation is moving to Sunday mornings.
  • Pre-K through 2nd grade Faith Formation will continue to meet Sunday mornings.
  • Pre-K through 5th grade children and their parents will begin and end in 9 or 10:30 am Sunday Worship. The children will be escorted out for Faith Formation before the sermon and rejoin their parents in Worship for sharing of peace, communion and sending.  More details in the intro letter, download above.

Milestones – one for every age (birth through grade 5) are scheduled throughout the year for joint parent and child participation. Dates, times and descriptions are in the intro letter, download above.

Mandatory Parent Orientation Session will help us start the year strong. We are offering six different sessions with the prayer one will fit your busy schedule.  We ask your commitment to one session.

Inclusive Grace Spaces added to the Narthex and Worship Center AND new, age-specific activity bags will better enhance worship experiences for everyone.

Additionally, there will be All In cross-generational events focused on Faith Formation and/or real-world topics will be offered throughout the year.

The Children’s Choir will sing during some Sunday morning worships throughout the year and do a musical at both worships on March 29, 2020.
