The Visitation Ministry program connects Trinity’s homebound persons with volunteers who have a heart for, and feel called to, face-to-face supportive visits. These regular points of contact provide encouragement and express God’s love to those who aren’t able to attend worship or other church activities. Volunteers can also bring the sacrament of Holy Communion and connection to the homebound on a monthly basis. Communion kits are blessed during congregational worship, training and prayer booklets are provided. Volunteers receive training, time commitment: three-five hours per month.
