Over 700,000 meals were packed in the previous two events by more than 3000 volunteers. The meals that were packed in February, 2009 have fought hunger both locally and internationally.
Locally, the meals were distributed through 16 east metro and western Wisconsin food shelves.
• Over 8500 meals brought relief to flood victims and volunteers in the Red River Valley
• Internationally the meals traveled to Haiti and Tanzania
• Relief and love served from a bag packed here in the St. Croix Valley
This year we will surpass the 1,000,000 meal mark by packing 400,000 meals during the February event
This event provides an opportunity for people of all ages to respond to the tragedy in Haiti in a tangible manner right here in Stillwater.
Your investment of $15 and two hours of time will provide 250 meals to the people of Haiti!
