As We Forgive
Sat., Jan. 30, 6:30 p.m.
Could you forgive a person who murdered your family? This is the question faced by the subjects of As We Forgive, a documentary about Rosaria and Chantal—two Rwandan women coming face-to-face with the men who slaughtered their families during the 1994 genocide. Overwhelmed by an enormous backlog of court cases, the government has returned over 50,000 genocide perpetrators back to the very communities they helped to destroy. Without the hope of full justice, Rwanda has turned to a new solution: Reconciliation. View trailer below.

Playing for Change: Peace Through Music
Sat., Feb. 13, 6:30 p.m.

Playing For Change: Peace Through Music is a story of hope, struggle, perseverance compassion and joy. Directors Mark Johnson and Jonathan Walls, along with the Playing For Change team, traveled the globe with a single-minded passion to connect the world through music. The idea for this project arose from a common belief that music has the power to break down boundaries and overcome distances between people. Each captured performance creates a new mix in which essentially the artists are all performing together, albeit hundreds or thousands of miles apart. View trailer below.
